An ongoing project of head studies (newest at the top). My intention for these exercises is to improve my control over head creation while exploring varying genders, races, types (creatures, monsters, etc), both realistic and stylized. Usually bald, beautiful and floating. Added as they are created.
My current process: Start from a low poly base mesh > establish new base shape in lowest subdivision > sculpt in primary, secondary, tertiary details while subdividing as needed > project additional sculpt information with high frequency maps > final quality detailing.
